Here are some comments and a question from Gerrit, based on my blog, The secret of the resurrection.
3. SCRIPTURE READINGS: The Secret of Easter (A) The secret begins with a vision and a promise. Isaiah 25:6-9
Responsive Psalm: (B) the Palmist shares something of the secret in the transformative experience of God saving him from death – causing us to respond with Easter hallelujahs. Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24
The Witness of the Church: (C) The secret of Easter is contained in the message of the good news about Jesus the Christ. When the message is believed the secret will be revealed. 1 Corinthians 15:1-11 or Acts 10:34-43.
The Good News: (D) The secret is revealed in the stories of those who experienced a face to face encounter with the presence of the living Christ. Whatever the experience, the secret is ... (what would you say?). John 20:1-18 or Mark 16:1-8

Hi Gerrit,
Thank you for you comments. When you say: “The secret is revealed in the stories of those who experienced a face to face encounter with the presence of the living Christ,” you are correct. But here there is only one face not two, and that face is God’s.
The good news is that anyone who is open to it can look within and find the peace that passes all understanding. To find this peace you have to have the deep recognition that you are God. This is the secret meaning of the word I.
I and God are one
God and I are one without a second, and without the least bit of separation. Now I know that at first blush it would seem very egotistical to say, “I am God.” But let’s take a deeper look and see how this could be true. We both know that God is omnipresent and that means everywhere, right? Moreover, when God created the world he couldn’t go down to the local hardware store to get wood. That’s because hardware stores were not created yet. So God had to create the world out of himself.
Consequently everything that we see, hear, taste, or touch has to be God, doesn’t it? If this is the case then everything is God. This is the meaning of The one God. However, if you say, “I am separate from God,” what happens? Now you are saying that there are two things in the universe: me and God. I am so powerful that I limit God. This would be really egotistical, wouldn’t it?

____________________________________________________________________________________ Here you can rest in your real home
So when you return your identity to the living Christ that you really are, you will have a direct encounter with Him. When you find your real home, this encounter with Christ will never come to an end. Here you will find a peace that is not affected by the condition of the body or the mind. This is, “The Peace that passes all understanding.” It is your real nature.
Now you know that when Christ says, “I and the father are one,” he is not referring to a man who lived two thousand years ago. He is referring to anyone who cares to look within and find out who he or she really is. This is the good news.
