The next step in evolution

If we follow the supposed chain of evolution from the simplest creature to a human being we may ask: what’s next? Where are we going from here? I say that the next step is spiritual, to drop off the human and discover the nature of our being. The most exciting thing about this stage of evolution is that we have a say in it. This does not happen to us—it happens by us. And when this stage is complete we will discover that we are a completely different creature than we thought.

Treasure that was hidden inside the whole time
The reason for this is that up until now, evolution dealt with bodies. As the bodies got more intricate the bodies evolved to a higher degree. But now we have the opportunity to step in a new direction and step out of the limitations of the body completely.

We can do this by discovering what we already are and just overlooked. Indeed in this step we go back before the beginning of time when there weren't different things. After all, things appear limited by the container called a body. But when we break through that boundary, what is there to keep us separate? Without that boundary we can know love in its original form where connection and love comes from our identity. This is the meaning of oneness.

We are the seer of limitation, not the one caught in it
The secret to leaping into this new realm of identity is to notice that we are the seer of limitation not the one caught in limitation. Bodies and minds are objects that we see. They are not us. Pots and rooms do not really divide or limit space. In the same way we are the Consciousness that like space pervades the limitations like the body, that we see. Standing as Consciousness what we thought was outside, turns out to be inside of us. Here we stand free of the things that seemed to limit us.

If you can find the meaning of these pointers you will find yourself standing at the pinnacle of life that sparkles with its own glory. It is here that you will see the real meaning of life that was buried in your own being the whole time. Here you will stand in your true identity which is free from separation. Like the depth of the ocean is free from the waves, you are free from the ups and downs of life. With this as my promise, step on the path of self knowledge, so that you can become the next step in evolution.
